Revisiting Images

I often like to revisit a little bit of the past. I say "a little bit," but it could be from the last year to the previous ten years; it just depends on which drive(s) I have attached. Before I sat down to write this, I had to solve the dreaded problem of space or, really, the lack thereof. That, however, is a conversation for another day.

When I look back at these photos, it gives me a chance to revisit those memories. Things about that day: The one shot I knew was out of focus. Well, it was out of focus. That cool artist thing I thought I would try, well, it too did not make the cut.

Conversation for another time about why I have all my photos. Let's chalk it up to the fact that I am a collector (something I am only coming to realize).

But I was looking for stuff with a fresh eye, not just a fresh eye, but one that has evolved. There are so many things we see: we like, we learn, and our tastes change and grow. So now I return back and look at the images with a "What if I did it differently?" What if I crop differently? What if I treat it differently? What caused me to capture the scene, that moment that presented itself before me, and what do I see in it today?

So here is what I saw today... :)
